What is a Tzedakah Charity Gift Card?

It's a charity gift certificate to support Israel! You choose the amount and currency of the gift card, and the recipient gets to redeem it as a donation to any charity in Israel.

Redeeming

Redeeming a Tzedakah card is easy. Search for the charity you wish to donate to, click "redeem gift card" and enter the code that you can find on your Tzedakah gift card. Or use our Advanced Search to find a charity by category, population served, or activity.

Tax-Deduction

Purchasing a Tzedakah Charity Gift Card is tax-deductible in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, and France. In addition, when the recipient redeems the Tzedakah card, they'll too receive a tax-deductible receipt.

In Israel, purchasing a Tzedakah Charity Gift Card is considered to be a recognized business expense (הוצאה מוכרת). After your purchase, you'll immediately receive a receipt (קבלה), which you can use to recognize the purchase as a business expense. If the recipient redeems the Tzedakah Charity Gift Card towards an organization that has a section 46 approval, they'll also receive a tax-deductible donation receipt.

Expiry Date and Lost Cards

Tzedakah Charity Gift Cards have no expiry date. And if you lose your card, let us know and we'll help you to get a replacement.
