With FundMe, creating a crowdfunding campaign is free. There are no set-up or platform fees - only a small credit card transaction fee of 2.9% + ₪1.20 per donation. Instead of charging platform fees, we ask your donor to leave us a tip to fund our services.

You can receive donations in 35 international currencies. receive one-time or recurring monthly donations, and you always keep everything that you raise, even if you don't reach your goal.

Campaign types

We have 5 types of campaigns that you can create

  1. Classic Campaign: This is the standard crowdfunding template, where you select a fundraising goal and challenge your supporters to help you meet it.

  2. Team Campaign: Create a fundraising team, where with the click of a button your supporters can join your campaign and become fundraisers. Each fundraiser gets their own personalized version of your campaign, and can set their own fundraising goal. They become ambassadors for your cause, bringing you new donors and donations.

  3. Membership Campaign: Create a Patreon-style membership campaign to recruit donations that automatically recur every month. Set a fundraising goal in terms of members (instead of dollars), and your recurring donations can last forever.

  4. Matching Campaign: With a Matching Campaign, a donor agrees to match every donation that your donors make. You come home with twice as many donations, and the match incentivizes your donors to give! This template shows every donor the impact of your matching grant - 2x, 3x...up to 10x your campaign goal.

  5. Rewards Campaign: Offer your donors rewards in return for their donation. Offer different rewards for different donation amounts, in different currencies. Easily track donations and rewards through your account.

Campaign customization

  • Look and feel: If you want to change the look and feel of the page, change its colors or font, hide certain sections or the footer and header - it's all possible thanks to the magic of CSS and JS. Just contact us and tell us what you'd like done.

  • URL: Want the campaign to appear on your own URL address? With pleasure - just contact us.

Email confirmations

You can create a unique email confirmation for each campaign. Learn here how.

  6. Now, go ahead and create your campaign.

When will I receive the funds that I raise?

  • If you're a non-profit organization, funds will be transferred to you according to the standard transfer periods for Israeli Shekel donations and for international currencies.

  • if you're fundraising for your own cause:

    • Donations made by Visa, Mastercard, Isracard, Bit, and Apple Pay will be deposited into your bank account by Meshualm on the 10th of every month, for the donations made the previous month (so on February 10th you'll receive the payments made from January 1-31st).

    • Donations made by American Express and Paypal are deposited into your bank account by IsraelGives on about the 15th of every months, for the donations made the previous month.

Every month, you'll receive an invoice for:

  • The payments made by credit card and Bit (issued by Meshulam)

  • The payments made by foreign currency and any other payments that have been processed by IsraelGives.

All invoices can be found in your account under Invoices.

Credit card transaction fees

Our standard credit card transaction fee is 2.9% + ₪1.20. This is an aggregate fee: sometimes the credit card fee is lower than this (such as with Visa transactions) and sometimes it is higher (such as for American Express, Paypal, tourist cards, or foreign currency transactions). So to simplify things we just charge a flat fee for all card types and payment methods that we accept: Visa, Mastercard, Diners, Discover, American Express, Bit, Paypal, and Apple Pay.

There are a few supplemental fees that may apply to your transaction:

  • If a payment is made in regular installments there is an extra 1% fee.

  • If you're a non-profit that has turned off the tip mechanism on the campaign, an additional 1% fee will apply.
